LISREL Spring workshop

This second course workshop on structural equation modeling (SEM) with LISREL is open to all who have a working knowledge of measured/latent variable path analysis and confirmatory factor analysis; that is, it builds on the kind of knowledge and experience typically gained during a first course on SEM (e.g., see our spring workshop). Covered topics will include the analysis of latent means, latent interactions, latent growth, and multilevel models, as well as dealing with nonnormal/ordinal data and assessing power in structural equation models. Throughout, participants will extend their knowledge of SIMPLIS but also become familiar with the LISREL command language through annotated examples and hands-on exercises.

Each participant will receive presentation handouts, a copy of the presenters’ edited volume “Structural Equation Modeling: A Second Course” (published by Information Age Publishing Inc.) and of "LISREL 8: New Statistical Features" (published by SSI; see the SSI book list), as well as the latest LISREL for Windows student CD. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a laptop computer to complete the hands-on exercises.
