Users
For those who are looking
to get more experience with LISREL, twice each year we present
three-day training sessions. These workshops are presented
by highly
knowledgeable researchers who have experience in making
LISREL and its methods accessible to participants.
The beginners’ session
will take you from your basic background in regression analysis
into the arena of structural equation modeling with LISREL.
For more intermediate/advanced users, a higher-level session will address
advanced topics and methods.
In both sessions, participants
will receive a demo of the latest version of the program as
well as relevant documentation.
The workshops will be held
at the University of Chicago’s Gleacher
Conference Center. We recommend that you bring a laptop/notebook
computer so that you can install and work with the demo program
during the presentations.
If you are completely new
to structural equation modeling or do not have access to LISREL,
we recommend that you prepare for the workshop by downloading
the free student edition
of LISREL and working through some of the LISREL
illustrative examples. The free LISREL student edition
may be downloaded from the
LISREL downloads page.
