IRT workshops - No workshop scheduled (yet) for 2008

Location: Gleacher Center, Chicago

Instructors: Susan Embretson and Steve Reise

With the new, Windows versions of our IRT products BILOG-MG, MULTILOG, PARSCALE, and TESTFACT now available, SSI is proud to announce an IRT workshop presented by Susan Embretson, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Steve Reise, UCLA.

Both presenters earned their PhD in Psychometrics at the University of Minnesota and recently co-authored the well-received book "Item Response Theory for Psychologists" (2000; Lawrence Erlbaum).

Each participant will receive the Embretson/Reise book, the new "IRT from SSI" (2003) book that describes SSI's four IRT products, as well as a CD with temporary licenses of the full editions of those four programs. Although not essential, participants should bring a laptop computer to be able to work along with the presenters during the illustrative sessions.

Note that the third day consists of sessions presented by SSI staff (as indicated in parentheses) demonstrating the use of the IRT programs in detail.
