Multiple user licenses

End User License Agreement (EULA) for SSI software products.

SSI, Inc. does not currently publish network or server editions for any of its software products. Instead, the software products are all published as standalone applications. Consequently, site licenses for the software products are not available.

For multiple end users, SSI, Inc. offers a volume discount for single user licenses. For example, a 5% discount for 2 licenses, a 6% discount for 3 licenses, a 7% discount for 4 licenses, an 8% discount for 5 licenses, a 13% discount for 10 licenses, a 20% discount for 20 licenses, a 23% discount for 30 licenses, a 26% discount for 40 licenses, a 30% discount for 50 licenses, a 35% discount for 100 licenses, and a 40% discount for 200 licenses.

Concurrent user licenses are available for organizations where the IT department controls all the software licenses owned by the organization (or an IT representative controls all the software licenses owned by a very large department of an organization). These licenses permit activations on multiple computers as long as the number of concurrent end users are controlled by third-party license management software such as KeyServer [http://www.sassafras.com].

Commercial (full) editions

• One concurrent license per computer is required.

Student editions of HLM, IRTPRO, LISREL, and SuperMix

• If the free student edition of HLM, IRTPRO, LISREL or SuperMix is adequate for the corresponding course, the appropriate free student edition can be installed on as many computers (including student personal computers) as required.

Student laptop and desktop computers

• For students to have access to the commercial (full) edition of the software on their own computers, the 6 or 12 month rental license of the software is strongly recommended. More information about the rental licenses is available at http://www.ssicentral.com/ordering/index.html.
• For students to have access to the commercial (full) edition of the software on a university owned laptop computer, the university can purchase a single user license for the laptop. The single user license remains the property of the university to be used by another student or faculty member in the future.
