Rental licenses

Perpetual single and concurrent user licenses (electronic installation applications)

• A single user license permits 1 installation on 1 personal computer for 1 specific end user.
• An individual concurrent user license permits multiple installations on multiple personal computers for 1 specific end user.
• Multiple concurrent user licenses, which are less in number than the number of end users, require third-party license management software such as KeyServer to restrict the number of concurrent end users to the number of concurrent user licenses.
• The number of concurrent users is equal to the number of end users that access the software at the same time.
• All single user and concurrent user licenses are delivered electonically in the sense that the URL for the installation application of the software product, the installation and activation instructions, and PDF copies of the billing and delivery invoices are sent via email to the email address provided in the End User Info window of the secure shopping cart application on the same or the next business day.
• All single user and concurrent user licenses are perpetual (permanent) and require no maintenance or renewal fees.
• All paid single user upgrade licenses are optional.
• All free single user license and concurrent user license upgrades are optional, but are strongly recommended for receiving technical support.
• SSI, Inc. offers volume discounts for single and concurrent user licenses. For example, a 5% discount for 2 licenses, a 6% discount for 3 licenses, a 7% discount for 4 licenses, an 8% discount for 5 licenses, a 13% discount for 10 licenses, a 20% discount for 20 licenses, a 23% discount for 30 licenses, a 26% discount for 40 licenses, a 30% discount for 50 licenses, a 35% discount for 100 licenses, and a 40% discount for 200 licenses.
• The perpetual licenses for the IRT software products (BILOG-MG, IRTPRO, and PARSCALE for Windows) are restricted to academic research and instructional use only and the use for assessment purposes is specifically excluded. IMPORTANT NOTICES

Resellers of SSI, Inc.

• SSI, Inc. does not sell its software products to domestic resellers.
• SSI, Inc. only sells its software products to registered foreign resellers via the secure shopping cart application.
• Unregistered foreign resellers need to send an email request to irt@ssicentral.com so that the company first can be approved as an official reseller of SSI, Inc.
• Orders can only be placed after the company is approved and registered as an official reseller of SSI, Inc.

Ordering

• All software licenses are delivered via email directly to the customer (end user). As a result, resellers are required to enter the delivery data (including the organization and the department) of the customer into the string boxes of the End User Info window of the secure shopping cart application for all orders. Separate orders are required for different customers. PDF copies of the delivery and billing invoices as well as return receipts for the email delivery of the software licenses are only sent to resellers via email.
• The reseller discount of 20% does not apply to single user license upgrades, rental licenses, and IRT software licenses.
